Exploring Seattle neighborhoods
I fell in love with Seattle during my first visit and moved here eight months later. I was impressed with how alive the city felt, especially at night when many city centers seem like ghost towns. From the Puget Sound inlet to the Cascade mountains, there isn't anywhere more gorgeous (rain or shine) than the Pacific Northwest. The people are pretty great too. I met and married my husband shortly after moving here and we raised our daughter in the Maple Leaf neighborhood, just 10 minutes north of downtown. I continue to be enamored with this city, my Seattle!
My Seattle blog allows me to share my favorite city spots with anyone looking for little gems not typically featured on tourist websites or blogs. I'm hoping that some of my favorites become your favorites. From the hip music scene on Capitol Hill to the funky shops and boutiques of Fremont, Seattle is made up of neighborhoods with unique personalities. I've organized this blog with that in mind. If you want to spend the day in Ballard, or just discover a new coffeehouse there, check out my Ballard posts. Spoiler alert: You won't find Starbucks listed anywhere! Also, type in key words in the search box to quickly find related posts. I'll be adding content and more neighborhoods regularly.
Thanks for stopping by. Have fun exploring. Let me know what you think.
