Shop, eat and play in Seattle's hippest neighborhood
Photo Center Northwest 900 12th Avenue Seattle, WA 98122 I discovered this impressive little gallery near Seattle University a couple of years ago. It offers free gallery shows and lectures to the public. I particularly enjoyed the Contemporary Queer Photography (pictured). The exhibit focused on ten photographers who explore ideas of identity, gender, courage, relationships, sexuality and the human form.
The studio offers several courses and workshops in beginning, intermediate and advanced digital photography, printing, lighting and much more. It has a fully equipped dark room and large format printers. For more information, visit pcnw.org.
